Who can audition?
Talented singers between 14 and 18 years old.
Must be enrolled in a High School / Homeschool.
Must reside in the greater Tshwane area (Gauteng).
Note: Music reading is helpful but not a requirement—we prioritize vocal potential and passion!

No, auditions are completely free.
Rehearsals are held every Friday from 15:00 to 19:00 at the University of Pretoria campuses.
Our repertoire ranges from traditional African pieces to contemporary pop and classical choral works.
We don’t want financial circumstances to prevent talented singers from joining the UP Youth Choir. While there is an annual membership fee, financial assistance and sponsorship opportunities are available for members who require support. We encourage families to contact us to discuss the options available.
